Rıza Law Firm is a leading law firm headquartered in Famagusta but providing legal services in all cities of Northern Cyprus.
Rıza Law Firm was established in 2009 by Ayşegül Rıza ,who studied Bachelor of Law (LLB) at University of Essex, UK and Master of Laws (LLM) in International Maritime Law at University of Wales, Swansea, UK where she graduated with a “Merit” degree in 2008. During her studies, she has selected and successfully represented her home country at 14th International Youth Leadership Conference (22nd-27th July 2007), Prague/Czech Republic, and Institute for European Studies Summer School (2nd- 13th July 2007)- organized by Vrije Universiteit Brussels, Diplomatic Academy and University of Wien on “European Decision-Making Process''.
She was also selected to attend Essex Law Lecture, 26th April 2007, Clifford & Chance, London/ UK given by The Rt Hon the Lord Woolf of Barnes and chaired by Baroness Hale of Richmond on “Judicial Independence, Not Judicial Isolation”.
During her LLM, she was elected as LLM Course Representative, at Law School, University of Wales, Swansea, UK and successfully represented all LLM students in Staff –Student Committee meetings and Student Union Assemblies. She was then admitted to TRNC Bar Association in 2009 and established Rıza Law Firm in 2010. Since then, she provides expediting solutions with an evident and swift legal advice/action to each client by using her extensive knowledge of Cyprus, EU and UK laws effectively.

Our office provides all kinds of legal assistance to its clients before, after and during the entire sales process/procedures, preparation of power of attorney and contracts of sale, registration of sales at Tax Office, registration of contract at the Land Registry Office, application for permission to acquire property by foreigners, transfers of property to third parties/family members, preparation of will and lease agreement after sales, and management of properties and all related legal consultancy is given successfully.
Immigration / Residency
Our law firm assists in all the purchase/conveyancing procedures from the beginning to obtaining a residence permit or to have a residence permit under high-income option if your property is still under construction. We advise on required documents, preparation and submission of the immigration permit applications and provide legal support to our clients in relocation to North Cyprus (including driving license applications, water/electricity registrations) and we provide legal support in this regard.
